Dora Louise Popp-Milliron

Dora Louise Popp-Milliron, 93, of Buffalo formerly of Perry died on Friday April 3, 2015 at her home in Buffalo surrounded by family.  She was born in Perry on June 5, 1921 a daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Lowery Barber. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband: John Popp who died in 1966, and siblings: Ruth Marcucci, Clifford and John Barber.

Dora was a graduate of Perry High School. She worked for the former Champion Products in Perry, and after moving to Buffalo 47 years ago she worked for The University of Buffalo in the Credit Union Department. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Perry. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts.

She is survived by her husband Edwin whom she married in 1969, 2 sons: Dr. A. John (Margaret Vosburgh) Popp of Albany, Tom (Holly) Popp of Seneca Falls, a step daughter: Deborah Hough of Buffalo, a sister: Harriett Gill of Perry, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday April 7th from 11:30am – 12:30pm at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry where services will follow at 12:30pm. She will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church 35 Covington St. Perry, NY 14530 or to the Perry Central School Alumni Association.
