Daniel G. Forsyth

By T.J. Woodward

Daniel G. Forsyth, 57 of Batavia, passed away Friday May 1, 2015 at his home. He was born June 2, 1957 in Batavia to George Forsyth of Batavia and the late Betty (Snyder) Lane.

Dan was extremely loved and always willingly received his family’s joking antics.  He will fondly be remembered as a kind and patient father. By his family and friends he will be thought of as a lover of Zweigles, and peanut butter.  In his heart was a tender place for his family pets, and who could forget cow 600 who would nibble sheets of paper he fed her.  He was a workaholic who really just wanted to bask in the sun.  Even when facing the most difficult of situations he was thoughtful before speaking or acting. For strength he relied on the Lord and he relished in the times he spent with his beloved granddaughter Abigail.

He is survived by the apple of his eye; daughter Jessica M. (Lucas General) Forsyth of Batavia; her mother Lori Forsyth of Oakfield; granddaughter Abigail Rose Bestine of Batavia; sisters Deborah (William) Fries, Sandra (Robert) Wells both of Oakfield along with many nieces and nephews.
