Norman P. Michael

Norman P. Michael, 66, of Batavia passed away peacefully on January 8, 2018 at the Batavia Health Care Center. He was born on October 4, 1951 in Springville to the late John and Virginia (Sekuterski) Michael. In addition to his parents, Norman is predeceased by his sister Elvira Michael; brother Richard Michael and sister-in-law Gloria Michael; brothers-in-law William Herkey and Tom Letcher.

Norm attended St. Johns school in Alden, NY where he was an altar boy as a child. Worked for Access Rentals which later became JM Enterprises of Batavia for over 30 years as a paint technician.  He liked hunting, fishing, target shooting and gardening. Norman was dearly loved by his friends and family and will be sadly missed.

He is survived by a son; Norman Michael Jr.; brothers Robert (Patricia) Michael of Cowlesville, Jim Michael of Ishua, NY; sisters Eileen (Velenzo) Cameron of NC., Phyllis Letcher of Leon, NY., Gloria Herkey of Alden; granddaughter Jaiden along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Norm will be laid to rest in the Ebenezer Cemetery in West Seneca.
