She was a longtime member of Resurrection Parish and faith was a large part of her life. Midge worked as a C.N.A for many years and just recently retired from Genesee County Nursing Home at the age of 88. She was a straightforward, honest woman willing to help anyone in need; she had a heart of gold. Family was everything to her and she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her children, Dennis C. (Juanita) Hewitt of Perry; Debra G. (James) Orr of Attica; Darryl L. (Deborah) Hewitt of Cocoa, FL; Dean R. (Lisa) Hewitt of Perry; step-daughter Karen (Renee) Lasky of Rochester; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
