DAVID L. MOORE, SR. ~ Batavia

Age 66, of Batavia, died Monday February 19, 2018 at United Memorial Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born December 25, 1951 in Indiana, PA a son of the late William C. and Imogene (Muckle) Moore also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Moore. 

Mr. Moore worked for many years at General Motors/Delphi until his retirement. He was an avid NY Yankees, Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres fan and an animal lover, especially his dogs. Dave's greatest joy was family, his wife, children and his cherished grandchildren and their sporting events, Grandpa Dave never missed a game! 

Surviving is his beloved wife of 47 years, Connie (Munt) Moore of Batavia; loving children, Stefanie (Ian) Lawlis of Batavia and their children, Gavin & Gabrielle; Jamie (Jeff) vonKramer of Pembroke and their children, Brenden, Zachary, Logan, Dakota & Cooper; Keith (Jennifer) Moore of Stafford and their children, Parker, Maylee & Mikayla; David (Karrie) Moore of Batavia and their son, Andrew; siblings, William (the late Carol) Moore of FL, Bud (Garnett) Moore of SC, Debbie (late Roger) Whiting of AL, Dorothy (Larry) Stockwell and Peg (Dave) Kams both of Medina along with many nieces and nephews. 

The Moore family will be present from 2-5pm on Sunday February 25, 2018 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, NY 14020 where funeral services will begin at 5pm with Pastor Marty McDonald, Officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials in his memory are suggested to the American Diabetes Association of WNY 4955 N. Bailey Ave. Suite 217 Amherst, New York 14226.
