Jerry was born in Batavia, NY on December 22, 1944.
Jerry was married to the love of his life, Carolyn (Johnson) Cox just short of 53 years of which they had 5 children.
Jerry worked at Doehler-Jarvis for 20 yrs., NY State Armory for 9 yrs. and retiring from Genesee Memorial Hospital. He enjoyed coaching youth baseball, evenings out dancing, bowling, pitching horseshoes, the Buffalo Bills and gatherings with family and friends at the good ‘ol Cox residence.
Jerry is survived by his wife Carolyn Cox. Daughters, Jesslyn Elliott of Pavilion, Tracy & Michael Fitch of Bliss, Kathryn & Dale McBride of Alexander. Sons, Gerald (Jay) Jr. & Brenda Cox of East Pembroke and Ronald (Ron) & Angie Cox of Moncks Corner, SC. 17 grandkids and 13 great grandkids. Sister In-laws, Jan Cox and Annette Cox and many nieces and nephews along with close friend Carol Wade
Jerry is preceded in death by parents Guy & Altha (Horton) Cox of Oakfield/Perry, brother Elmer Cox of Oakfield, Garry & Shirley Cox of Oakfield, twin brother John T Cox of Oakfield and infant Ronald Cox
Please join the family in a celebration of life that will be held Saturday April, 7th 2018 from 3pm-7pm at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church Hall located at 8656 Church Street, East Pembroke, NY (across from East Pembroke Primary School).
