Frank R. Wickins, 74, of Attica passed away on October 14, 2018 at the New York State Veterans Home at Batavia. He was born on April 7, 1944 in North Tonawanda to the late Robert W. and Frances (Helf) Wickins. In addition to his parents, Frank is predeceased by his brother; Russell Wickins and son-in-law Rodney MaClane.

Frank was a proud United States Army Veteran. He worked for many years as a lineman for Niagara Mohawk. Frank was an avid fisherman, loved playing Euchre, enjoyed being in his wood shop doing all types of woodworking and after retirement, he spent a lot of time with family in the 1000 Islands on the St. Lawrence River. He was a long time member of the American Legion, Alexander VFW and both the Attica and Batavia Rod & Gun Clubs.

He is survived by his loving wife; Dawn (Wiepert) Wickins of Attica; children Vicki MaClane, Debbie (David) Best, James (Tina) Wickins and Nikki (Tim Augustyn) Kohlhagen; sister Grace Grefrath; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday October 17, 2018 from 1:00-3:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street Attica, New York 14011. An 11:00AM Funeral Service will be held on Thursday October 18, 2018 at the Funeral Home. Frank will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery in Attica with full Military Honors.
