Mary Lucy Swingle

BATAVIA - Mary Lucy Swingle, 89, of Batavia, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019, at United Memorial Medical Center.

Mary was born August 20, 1929, in Batavia, the daughter of the late Louis C. and Leora Ann (Schultz) Warren.

She was a Sales Clerk for JC Penney's in Batavia, and member of the 1st Baptist Church.  She was the Chairman of the Tenant's Relations Committee for Birchwood Village for many years. 

Survivors include a son, Deacon Fredrick G. (Guadalupe) Swingle of Chula Vista CA; a daughter, Laurie (Sidney) Bennett of Batavia; 6 grandchildren, Valerie (John) Schlaggel of FL, Jonathan Bennett of North Tonawanda, Mary Beth (Derek) Robinson of Alden, Fredrick G. (Marjorie) Swingle, IV, and Michael A. Swingle; 4 great-grandchildren, Maxwell Schlaggel, Samantha Schlaggel, Fredrick G. Swingle V and Madelyn Swingle; and a sisters-in-law, Laura Warren of Cheektowaga and Norma Swingle of PA.         

She was predeceased by her brothers, Augustus C. Warren, Donald L. Warren and Leonard Warren.
