FLORENCE W. KUJAWSKI

FLORENCE W. KUJAWSKI ~ Age 94, of Batavia, died Wednesday morning July 10, 2019 at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home. She was born in Batavia, NY on March 8, 1925 to the late Frank and Wanda (Wisniewski) Gorecki, Sr. also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Martin J. Kujawski in 2005 and a brother, Frank Gorecki, Jr.

Florence was a lifelong member of Ascension Parish (Sacred Heart) along with its Altar & Rosary Society and assisting with the Bereavement Committee. She worked for over 40 years at the former P.W. Minor Shoe Factory. Florence was extremely proud of her Polish heritage and loved spending tme with her family.

Surviving are her loving sons, Jerome “Jerry” (Kristin) Kujawski of Batavia and Steven (Diane) Kujawski of Batavia; cherished grandson, Bradley S. (Rebecca Iannello) Kujawski; great-grandson, Gibson Charles Kujawski along with several nieces and nephews.

The Kujawski family will be present from 4-8p.m. on Sunday July 14, 2019 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where prayers recited at 9:15a.m. on Monday July 15 will be followed by a 10a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Ascension Parish (Sacred Heart). She will be entombed with her husband in the Mosignor Francis L. Schwartz Mausoleum in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
