Joseph R. Trigilio, 66 of Attica, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 1, 2019. He was born August 9, 1953 in Batavia to the late Joseph (Jennie Recchio) Trigilio.  

Joe loved his family and great circle of friends. He had many interests and was always on the go. Joe could often be seen at OTB where he enjoyed the horse races and his track buddies. Summers were spent golfing. Joe’s favorite pastime was his love for bowling. He was an active bowler at all the local establishments as well as Buffalo and Rochester. He often traveled to tournaments outside our area and was always a fierce competitor winning may of those tournaments. He was a very proud member of the Genesee Region USBC Association Hall of Fame.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen K. (Keizer) Trigilio of Attica; son Frank (Jennifer) Trigilio of Bergen; sisters Angela Earle of Batavia; Tammy (Mark) Schmidt of Batavia; grandchildren Gianna, Ciara and Frankie, mother-in-law Dorothy L. Keizer of Alexander; sisters and brothers-in-law Mary Ellen (Greg) Lewis of Alden; Jack (Carrie) Caccamise of Alexander; Gary Caccamise of Batavia; Marilyn (Dave) Grinnell of MI; along with several nieces and nephews.

A 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Resurrection Parish, 18 Ellicott Street, Batavia, NY 14020. He will be entombed in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum, Batavia.
