John A. Rauth

John A. Rauth, 79, of Varysburg, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2019 at U.M.M.C. after a courageous battle with C.M.L.. He was born in N. Tonawanda on June 28, 1940 to the late Karl and the late Margaret (Schultz) Rauth. John was preceded in death by his brothers, Karl and Paul.

John made his home in Varysburg, NY. He was a Journeyman for General Motors. He will be remembered for his many smiles. John enjoyed socializing and telling stories of his days in the Air Force.

John is survived by his loving wife, Bernice (Mitrowski), their children, Heidi K. Rauth and Jonathan S. Rauth; nephews, Rick and Chris Rauth, Evan and Adrian Bylewski; niece, Jennifer Rauth Piper; adopted granddaughters, Jordan Renee and Kendall Maylie Cizdziel.  John’s family would like to thank their dear friends, Judy, Bill, Betty, Patty, April, Pat, Paul, and friends at Crossroads in Batavia.

There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Sts. Joachim & Anne RC Church- Varysburg site, 2311 Attica Road, Varysburg, NY 14167. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery, Warsaw, NY.
