Dorothy "Dot" Koziej

Dorothy “Dot” Koziej, 89 of Batavia, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday (October 9, 2019) at her residence.

She was born in Buffalo, NY on June 7, 1930.

Dorothy was employed by the former G.T.E. Sylvannia’s and Mancuso Bowling Lanes in Batavia. She bowled on many leagues and won many awards and trophies throughout her career. She also enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to different bingo halls with her friends.

She is predeceased by her husband, Phil Koziej, who she married in 1952 and her brothers, Andrew, Joseph, Stanley and Frank Kwasniak.

Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy M. (Gordon) Williams of Amherst. Grandchildren, Courtney (Jason) Pastore of Mountainside, New Jersey and Zachary Williams of Amherst.  Sisters, Florence (Vincent) Ferrando of Churchville, NY and Helen (Richard) Barnard of Batavia, formerly of Byron, NY. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, and her beloved canine friend: "Buddy-O".

A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
