IGNATIUS EDWARD DiSALVO

IGNATIUS EDWARD DiSALVO ~ Age 76, of Batavia, died Saturday October 26, 2019 at Unity Hospital in Rochester after being stricken at home. He was born in Batavia, NY on January 15, 1943, a son of the late Joseph S. and Frances (Talone) DiSalvo also preceded in death by his sister, Annette Cory.

Ed enjoyed a good cup of coffee especially with his buddies, he was a gentle, kindhearted man who was a friend to all.

He is survived by his loving boys, Scott DiSalvo, Joseph (Amy) DiSalvo, Shaun DiSalvo all of Batavia; cherished grandchildren, David (Brittany) DiSalvo, Katelyn DiSalvo, Ariana, Hannah & Haley; 2 great-grandchildren, David and Justin; former spouse, Mary (Aquino) DiSalvo of Batavia; brother, John (Barb) DiSalvo of Warsaw; sister, Brenda (Jim) Pierce of Batavia; brother-in-law, Anthony Cory of Corfu along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The DiSalvo family will be present from 4-7p.m. on Friday November 1, 2019 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020. He will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery and in lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or donors@stjude.org
