Barbara Ann Litfin

Barbara Ann Faltisco Litfin, 86 of Akron NY, entered into rest Wednesday (January 15, 2020) at Hospice Buffalo.

She was born in Buffalo NY at Deaconess Hospital, a daughter of the late Helena Garbacz and Joseph Faltisco.

The longtime owner of Barbara Ann’s Bridal Salon in Akron was a well known custom dress maker and designer. After retirement, her lifelong compassion for the love of animals directed her to the breeding and raising of Yorkshire terriers and started Watson Kennels.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Kenneth Litfin in 1994 and George Watson in 2007 and mother of the late Bruce Litfin in 2011.

Survivors include her sons, Kenneth (Carol) Litfin of Clarence Center and Gary (Susan) Litfin of Cheektowaga. Daughter, Suzzane (Joseph) Corona of Batavia. Grandchildren, Michael Litfin, David Litfin, Jill Jarocki, Jesse Litfin, Josh Perry, Ethan Perry and Matthew Perry. Great-grandchildren, Mila, Lola and Zachary.

Family and friends are cordially invited to share thoughts, condolences and fond memories on Saturday, February 8th from 10am - 12 noon at the J. LEONARD McANDREW FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 32 John St., Akron, NY, where a memorial service will commence at 12:00 pm.
