Jacob A. Lang, 36 of Batavia, passed away on January 28, 2020. He was born in Buffalo on October 5, 1983 to Ricky G. (Niki S. Tundo) Lang of Batavia. He is preceded in death by his twin brother Jason D. Lang.   

Jacob had a duel Master’s Degree in Sociology and History. He was dedicated to his work, extremely passionate about teaching and worked as a college professor for many years. Jacob was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish.

Jacob is survived by his parents, sister Brandi M. Smith of Buffalo, grandmother Marie Tundo, grandfather Nick Tundo both of Batavia, along with many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Monday, February 3, 2020 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street, Batavia, New York 14020. Prayers will be recited 9:00 AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the Funeral Home, followed by a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Resurrection Parish, 18 Ellicott St., Batavia, New York 14020. He will be laid rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Batavia.
