Gloria M. Rembas, 71 of Akron, NY, went back into the arms of Jesus on April 13, 2020.

She was born April 18, 1948 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Joseph and Stella Fliss Rembas.

Gloria was a Registered Professional Nurse who graduated from Buffalo General Hospital and worked for many years and retired from Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Church in Akron where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She was a very giving person and will be known for her fantastic baking skills, especially her cream cheese brownies.

She was a cherished sister of Donna (late David) Hahn. Much loved “Auntie” to Denise (Brian) Masterson, Dawn (Patrick) Ostrowski, David (Laura) Hahn, Deborah (Douglas) Garrison. Great-aunt to Phillip and Eric Masterson, Nathaniel, Sarah and Matthew Ostrowski, David and Ryan Hahn and Zachary (Kate) Garrison. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins, especially God-Mother Aunt Helene Zaremski.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest next to her parents in St. Teresa’s Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at: www.mcandrewfuneralhomes.net.
