Gerard F. Ciancio Jr., 73 of Varysburg, went to rest peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. He was born August 9, 1947 in Buffalo to the late Gerard Ciancio Sr. and Catherine (Ryan) Ciancio. He is preceded in death by a sister Rosemary Hans.

Jerry raced modified cars in the 1970’s at Lancaster Speedway. He loved building cars, racing cars, fishing and boating. He worked for several years for family business, Joseph Ciancio & Sons, he later joined the Masons Union, then retired as a Correctional Officer for the NYSDOC.

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife Nancy (Vogt) Ciancio, dovoted and loving father of Lori (Dan Hoffman) Ciancio Embt, grandfather of Emma & Kaylea, brother of Mark Ciancio and Terri Ciancio, along with cousins, nieces and nephews.  

There will be no prior calling hours. A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will be held at a later date.
