Mrs. Helene Zaremski

Mrs. Helene Zaremski, 94, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Helene was the daughter of the late Egnacy & Josephine (Bialas) Rembas. She is preceded in death by her husband Leo Zaremski who passed away in 1988; son-in-law Jerry Roberts, siblings, Joseph (Stella), John (Clara), Chester (Betty) Rembas, Jennie (Laverne) Spring and Jean (Norman) Reiter.

Helene retired from P.W. Minor shoe factory after 43 years. She was a member of Sts. Joachim & Anne Parish of Attica since 1933. Helene was a greeter for the church and served on the funeral luncheon committee. She was also a member of the Harder and O’Donnell Post #743 Ladies Auxiliary and the Happy Agers of Alexander. Helene loved playing euchre, traveling and watching the Buffalo Bills.

Surviving are her children David (Joyce) Zaremski of Batavia and Kathleen Roberts of Varysburg. Grandchildren Jason (Vanessa) Roberts of Long Valley, NJ, Heather (Vince) Phelps of Chaffee, Janelle Allen (Tom O’Neill) of Farmington and Karen (Michael) Potempa of North Tonawanda. Step-grandchildren Jeffrey (Junghwa) McGee of Houston, TX and Kevin (Shannon) McGee of LosFresnos, TX. Great-grandchildren Madison and Brody Phelps, Sydney and Noelle Roberts, Maggie and Claire Allen, Dominic Parsons and Penelope Potempa. Step-great-grandchildren Jasmine and Jaylene McGee, Keegan, William and Gunnar Dale. Great-great-grandchildren Ottis, Skyler and Keegan Jr. Dale. Along with many loving nieces, nephews and friends.   

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 4 to 8 PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC, 135 Main Street, Attica, NY 14011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately for the family. She will be laid to rest in St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Attica.  

Please note the Funeral Home will be operating at 33% capacity per state guidelines. New York State requires those in attendance to adhere to the social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory. Thank you for your cooperation.
