Verna M. Hall

Verna M. Hall, 92 of Basom, passed away peacefully Friday (January 22, 2021) at Sisters of Charity Hospital St. Joseph Campus, Cheektowaga, NY.

She was born September 1, 1928 in Alabama, NY, a daughter of the late Fred and Sarah Warner Gilbert.

Verna was employed by Klotzbach Egg Farm prior to her retirement. She enjoyed country music and was known to many about her cooking greatness. She will be truly missed by those who knew her loving heart.

She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd W. Hall who passed away August 6, 2000 and daughter, Sandra R. MacRae who passed away January 20, 2001.

Survivors include her son, David “Boots” (Betty) Hall of Batavia. Son in-law, John “Ian” (Margot) MacRae of Canada. Grandchildren, Brett (Loni) Hall, Teri (Randy) Tamburlin, Robert (De-Anna) MacRae, Shawn (Kim) MacRae and Sheri MacRae. Sister, Jane Hall. Also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
