Elizabeth "Liz" McCurdy

  Elizabeth “Liz” McCurdy, 76, of Batavia, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021.  She was born July 6, 1944 to the late Adelbert and Katherine Merry.  She is preceded in death by her husband David L. McCurdy, whom she married September 20, 1969.

Liz was a lifelong Batavia resident and graduate of Notre Dame High School and Rochester Institute of Technology. 

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Thomas Willette, son and daughter-in-law, John and Laura McCurdy, sister and brother-in-law Joanne and Harold Fitzpatrick, grandchildren Clare, Emma, Ian, Audrey, and Aren, along with many nieces and nephews.

There are no prior calling hours.  A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held for the family on Saturday February 13^th which will be streamed on the www.resurrectionbatavia.com Facebook page at 9:30AM. She will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Batavia.
