James L. Werth

James L. Werth, age 72, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at his home.

Jim was born on November 20, 1948, a son of the late Wilber W. and Katherine I. Ruck Werth.

Jim leaves behind his wife; Dawn M. Betties Werth; his sister; Kay Burger; children; Greg (Amy) Werth Freeman, Steven (Trisha) Werth, Dawn (Mike) Stoll, Lance (Michelle) Werth, Jim (Brianne) Emery, Jenn (John) Cascell and Michael (Brian) Betties; thirteen grandchildren; Lauren, Will, Tony, Miah, Mason, Austin, Brady, Colton, Michael, Brittny, Ryan, Ellie and Jamison; his nephew; Brandon (Liz) Burger; special aunts; Mary, Rosalie and Elaine along with several cousins and lifelong friends.

Jim was predeceased by his brother in law Raymond Burger and nephew Justin Burger.

Jim loved everything outdoors including farming and hunting.  He also enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.  He had a huge love for animals, especially his dogs.  

Friends may attend visiting hours on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue, Oakfield where services will immediately follow visitation.
