Robert LaVerne Easton, "Butch", 74 of Batavia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 3, 2021.

Butch was born April 9, 1947 in Batavia, the son of the late LaVerne and Eleanor Easton of Batavia.

Butch was an employee of Chapin Manufacturing for 38 years until he retired.  Butch enjoyed airplanes, fishing, hunting, auto racing and assembling models.  Butch served with the Army during the Vietnam War.

Butch is survived by his daughters, Shirley (Jake) Sands of North Carolina and Tammy Rudnicki of Akron; four grandchildren, Hannah Sands, Jacob Sands Jr., Alyssa Sands and Tyler Easton and one great-granddaughter, Iris Frausto.  Butch is also survived by his two sisters, Annette Lewis of Medina and Kay Cook of Tennessee.

There are no prior calling hours.  Butch's service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia.
