Henry F. Ochs, 71 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing in Batavia. He was born June 27, 1950 in Rochester to the late Henry V. and Marjorie (Baldinger) Ochs.  

Henry was a United States Army Veteran. He retired from Kodak in Rochester. Mr. Ochs coached Little League Baseball, softball and was very involved with the Boy Scouts.  

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Cindy (Moore) Ochs of Batavia; children, Penny (Eric) Snyder of Phoenix, NY, April (Andrew) Wenzel of Holly, Michael (Bridget) of MD and Jennifer (Earl) DeLong of Batavia; siblings Lucille Perkins of VA, Nancy (Jim) Lougheed of Washington State, David Ochs of Friendship, NY; 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 2 to 4pm at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street, Batavia, New York 14020. A Celebration of his Life will immediately follow, 4:00pm at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the activities fund at the Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing, 257 State Street, Batavia, NY 14020.
