Barbara A. Anderson - October 22, 1981 to March 3, 2022
Born in Oklahoma, her short life was filled with sickness and addiction. Despite that, she was able to develop a deep love and devotion to her family. In death, she became what she could not become in life: a silent teacher-choosing to give her body to science so others may learn from all she’d been through.
Barbie was predeceased by brother Scott (Bubba) and father Lewis Jr. Her loving and forgiving legacy will live on in her surviving family: sister Sharon (Scott) Chaplain, brother Shawn, nieces Samantha Chaplain and Ana Anderson, and nephew Kristopher Anderson.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, July 17th from 2-5pm at the Brockport Vet’s Club pavilion. There will be a co-celebration for her father at that time. Please bring your favorite memories to share, as the family will be compiling a memory book for the nieces and nephew.
