Elba - Donald Scroger, 80, of Elba, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, (October 7, 2015) at the United Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia.
Mr. Scroger was born March 11, 1935 in Batavia, a son of the late Louis and Catherine (Merch) Scroger.
He is the husband of Kay (Neth) Scroger, of Elba. The two were married in 1968.
In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by three brothers, Marvin (Shelia) Scroger of Lancaster, Clifford (Betsy) Scroger of MD, and Duane (Roberta) Scroger of Oakfield. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Scroger.
There will be no visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Elba. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elba Fire Department, P.O. Box 58, Elba, NY 14058.
