Stafford - Phyllis A. Brew, 46, of Stafford, passed away suddenly Thursday, (October 29, 2015) at United Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia.
Mrs. Brew was born September 4, 1969 in Batavia, a daughter of Phyllis (Morse) Irwin of Stafford and the late Robert Irwin.
Phyllis was a talented crafter and enjoyed sewing and writing. She also owned a wholesale animal business in LeRoy, in which she would raise animals to sell to local pet stores. For a period she owned a pet store in Bergen.
She is wife of the late David R. Brew who passed away in 2009.
Surviving along with her mother, is a brother, Donald (late Roberta) Irwin of Stafford; and two nieces, Patience and Rose Irwin.
She is preceded in death by her nephew, Grant Irwin.
Friends may call on Tuesday (Nov. 3, 2015) from 4 to 6 p.m. at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main St., Batavia, where Phyllis’ Funeral Service will immediately follow calling at 6:00. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or Stafford Fire Department, P.O. Box 56, Route 5, Stafford, NY 14143.
