Elba - Loretta  "Jean"  Love, age 80, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Mount Morris surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Monday, November 1st, 1943 in Batavia, a daughter of the late William Shafer and Laura Maxwell Shafer.

She loved her animals, tending to her flower beds, gardening and cheering for the Buffalo Bills, especially for Jim Kelly. Most of all Jean loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her great-grandson Mason play baseball.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Darwin F. Love; her daughters, Cheryl (McQueen) Love of Medina and Laurie (Joseph) Graham of Attica;  three grandchildren, Rita (Sam) Vigiano of Elba, Felicia (Robert) LeRoy of Victor and Holly (Taylor) Ellis of Canton; two great-grandsons, Mason Vigiano of Elba and Liam Ellis of Canton; her brothers, Leslie (Dorothy) Shafer of Batavia and Wayne (Karen) Shafer of Lancaster; her sister, Theresa (Gary) Cervone of Houston, Texas along with several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her siblings, Carol Shafer who passed away as infant, Donald Shafer, Annie Fisk and Timothy (late Carol) Karnafel.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024  from 4:00 pm  to 7:00 pm  at H.E. Turner & Co. Batavia- Robert Farrell, age 58, of Batavia, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center.

Robert was born Friday, June 18, 1965 in Buffalo, New York a son of Francis and Patricia (Holland) Farrell.

In past years Robert enjoyed taking motorcycle trips and going fishing, but what he really enjoyed was spending time with his granddaughters, recently taking a trip to Splash Lagoon and the Circus. Robert was also an avid lover of computers and a political enthusiast.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Farrell, of Batavia; Daughters, Corey (Matthew) Scarborough of Oakfield and Ryann Farrell of Webster; Grandchildren, Ryleigh Farrell, Olivia, and Ava Scarborough; siblings, Joseph (Kristine) Farrell of San Diego, California, Mary (Tom) DiFilippo of Albion, Michael Farrell of San Diego, California, Daniel (Leslie) Farrell of San Diego, California, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In Death Robert is reunited with his father Francis Farrell and brother, Thomas Farrell.

A private Mass of Christian burial at Resurrection Parrish, Batavia, NY. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery at a later date.

Patti O. Block, 71 of the Tonawanda Indian Reservation, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday (April 18, 2024) at her residence.

She was born February 19, 1953 in Buffalo, a daughter of the late Walter “Sam” and Constance Tahamont Poodry.

Patti was formerly employed by Greatbatch Corporation in Alden prior to her retirement. She was also a member of the Turtle Clan.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Block and son, Michael Poodry.

Survivors include her sons, Russel Block and Alexander Block, bother of Basom. Sister, Juanita Poodry-Dunn of Batavia. Brother and sister in-law, Kenneth (Nancy) Poodry of Basom. Grandchildren, Michael Smoke, Madison Block and Marisa Block. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Timothy Roger Anderson, age 62, of Pavilion, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024.

He was born on Tuesday, March 27th, 1962 in Batavia, New York, a son of the late Roger Anderson and Judith "Judy" Schroeder.

He is survived by his loving children, Becky (Gregory) Midkiff, Timothy "TJ" (Amanda Eschenlaver) Anderson, and Isaiah (Abby Butcher) Anderson; grandchildren, Harley, Brantley, Piper, Riley, Ava, and Alayna; and his dear sisters, Vicky Berry and Dawn Sprague. Timothy dearly loved his stepchildren; Shawn, Sarah, Jennifer, Robin, Deanna and Eli.

Timothy proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked as a truck driver for Accadia Site Contracting Co., until his retirement. He had a passion for riding his motorcycle, working on cars, building projects, collecting antiques and cars, and above all, cherished spending time with his family.

James O. "Jim,JO" Howard, 63, of Holley and formerly of Bergen, passed away on April 15, 2024 at home under the care of Hospice and his loving family. He was born on June 30, 1960 in Hornell. 

Jim loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.  He was a softball coach and a Sunday school teacher at the Bergen United Methodist Church.  Jim enjoyed playing sports, listening to classic rock music and will be remembered for always helping others. He was a clinical review nurse for MVP Health Care.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Karen Howard of Holley; his father, Richard A. Howard of Brockport; his children, Amanda (Michael) Chadsey of Holley and Joshua Howard of Manlius; grandchildren, Maddox Howard, Jr. Chadsey, Lucy Eichenberger and George Chadsey; a brother, Richard (Sarah) Howard of Hopkinton, Iowa; sisters, Deborah (Don) Fogg of Sweden and Cynthia (Dean) Leffel of Corfu and nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his mother, Barbara Howard. 

Calling hours will be held on May 17 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 51 South Lake Ave. in Bergen, where Jim's funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. also on May 17.

Lonnie was born January 9, 1946 in Leesburg, GA, a son of the late Lonnie and Charlotte (Hughes) Ford, Sr.

Lonnie will be remembered as a loving Husband, Father & Grandfather. Lonnie loved helping others, playing the lotto and working on cars. In Georgia he was an avid farmer and in New York he worked at Agway in Batavia for 20+years.

Surviving are his wife, Annie J. Ford of Batavia; son, Curtis Ford of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Ivena (Leopol) Jean-Francois of Tavares, FL, Crystal Ford of Ocala, FL, Curtis Ford, Jr., Travis Ford and Bradley Ford all of Georgia; siblings, Quincy Hurley (KC), Rosa Lee Lunford, Martha Maxie all of Albany, GA, Virginia Hand of Leesburg, GA, Mary Louise Peavy of America, GA and Madacei Ford of Dawson, GA and a host of nieces and nephews.

Oakfield- Robert “Bob” William Lundmark, age 80, of Oakfield, NY passed away at his home on April 16, 2024.

Bob was born on September 17, 1943 in Batavia, NY, a son of the late Karl and Mabel (Pursel) Lundmark.

Bob loved his community and supported it as a lifelong member of the Oakfield Volunteer Fire Department. He worked for US Gypsum for 33 years until his retirement. Bob spent his retirement years dedicated to drag racing his 1967 Dodge Coronet under the name “Big B Racing”.

In death Robert will be reunited with his parents, Karl and Mabel Lundmark; brother, David (Olive) Lundmark, and son, Eric Lundmark.

Robert is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joan Lundmark; children, Jim (Tracy) Lundmark, Wendy (Edward) Spence, and Laura Lundmark; grandchildren, Levi, Kayla, Alyssa (John Unger) Franks, Katie Spence, Sami and Josh Armstrong, Morgan and Molly Littlejohn, Eryn Spence, Jackson Spence,  Amelia Armstrong, and many other family members and friends.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Burdett & Sanford funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on May 11, 2024 at the Oakfield Fire Department at 12:00pm.

Randy Harland Page, 70, of Batavia passed away on April 17, 2024 at United Memorial Medical Center. He was born on August 3, 1953 in Warsaw to the late Harland and Jean Page. In addition to his parents, Randy is predeceased by his step mother Mary Page; father in law Ronald Heywood; sister in law Kimberly Heywood.

He is survived by his wife; Linda E. Page; children Stacey (Peter) Leicht, Amanda (Jason) Krohn and Christopher (Megan) Page; mother in law Mary Jane Heywood; sisters Carol (Gary) Freeman, Elaine Page; brother and sisters in law Douglas (Peg) Heywood, Bonnie (Ken) Morgan, Richard Heywood; grandchildren Zachery, Brenden, Olivia, Harlyn, Acadia, Oaklie, Madison, PJ and Joshua, along with many nieces and nephews. 

As a child, Randy grew up playing the guitar with his father and spending time on their family farm. He was a graduate of Pavilion Central School in 1971. Randy retired from Skyworks in January 2020 after working for the company for over 20 years. He was an avid hunter, golfer, baseball player and loved music. Randy played slow pitch softball and hardball for many years. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and always cracking jokes. Randy was a true family man and loved spending hours fishing with his grandkids.

June Cunningham was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. June left this world on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024, at the age of nearly 90 years old. 

June was born in Depew, New York on September 2, 1934. She spent her early career years pursuing her love of photography. June met her husband, Edward “Ed” Cunningham in upstate New York. Together they lived and worked in many New York towns including Cheektowaga, Angola, Batavia, and Olean during their 40 years of marriage. In addition to raising their two daughters, June had active involvement in various aspects of her community, from Girl Scouts and 4H leader to volunteering at her daughters’ schools and the Catholic church. She was a talented and respected Benefits Specialist for both Graham Manufacturing and Dresser Rand in upstate New York.

After retirement in 1992, June and Ed moved south to Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. While living in Tennessee, June was active in the Republican Club, the Computer Club, St. Francis Catholic Church, the Fairfield Glade Community Church, the Four Seasons Townhouse Organization, and the Crossville Playhouse. After Ed’s passing in 1996, June met her second husband, Claude Miles. They enjoyed life together for 15 years, including travel to visit their many daughters around the country. After Claude’s passing in 2018, June moved to Buena Vida Estates in Melbourne, Florida to be closer to her family. Friends and family fondly remember June for her extreme generosity, great sense of humor, and bright smile. 

Beloved survivors are her daughters Kathleen Thompson, wife of Robert Thompson of Cocoa Beach, Florida, Susan Weir, wife of Peter Weir of Cocoa Village, Florida, and grandchildren Benjamin Weir of Bozeman, Montana and Kaelan Weir of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Dianne Mildenberger and Pat Sojka, as well as nieces and nephews. Survivors also include stepdaughters Claudia Miles, Roberta Szalach, Angela (John) Sarcone, and Melissa (Leonard) Bex. June is predeceased by her mother Julia Sojka, stepfather Joseph Sojka, father Walter Mildenberger, and brothers William Mildenberger and Joseph Sojka. 

A Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held at Buena Vida Estates in Melbourne, Florida on April 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fairfield Glade Community Church in Tennessee on April 27, 2024 at 2:00 pm, followed by an interment with her husband, Ed, at the St. Francis Catholic Church Columbarium in Fairfield Glade. A celebration mass is also planned this summer at Mt Irenaeus / St. Bonaventure University, in Olean, New York.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Orlando, Florida.
