DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

Assist the Store Manager and or Division Director in implementation of strategies necessary to operate the retail unit on a fill-in basis.  Assume acting Manager responsibilities in the absence of a Store Manager.  Implements and monitors policies and procedures of the Retail Division.  Assist with the maintenance of records necessary for effective controls.  Maintains and inspects displays and equipment necessary to store operations.  Must understand, implement and monitor working and safety conditions of all supervised employees.  Promotes a quality image of Goodwill Industries to customers. Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Supervisory related skills.

Knowledge of Goodwill donation systems preferred.

Knowledge of item identification and processing preferred.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Knowledge of loss control systems.

One year of prior supervisory experience in a higher volume retail outlet.

Must possess excellent record keeping and reporting skills.
