DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

 

Assume full responsibility for the sales, store operations, merchandising, distribution, processing and staffing of a Retail/Donation Center.  Establishes goals as necessary to meet or exceed sales quotas.  Implement and monitor policies and procedures of the retail/processing division.  Will hire, train and evaluate staff. Maintain and inspect displays and equipment necessary to store operations.  Implement and monitor retail training for program participants and staff.  Must understand, implement and monitor safety conditions o all supervised employees.  Must meet or exceed sales goals. Maintain and promote a quality image of Goodwill Industries through proper housekeeping, displays, training and customer service.

Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED.

Three years of prior supervisory or administrative experience.

Knowledge of Goodwill donation system helpful.  Good communication skills.  Ability to deal with customer relations which has achieved a positive result.  Good organizational skills.  Knowledge of retail operations.  Knowledge of loss control systems and techniques and handling of cash.  

Cash register operation.  Credit card automated systems.  Computer skills.
