Job Description:  The Genesee County Human Resources Director is the head of the County Human Resources Department and also acts as the County’s Affirmative Action Officer.  The position is administrative in nature, and has a broad range of responsibilities falling into three major areas of Civil Service Administration, Labor Relations and General Personnel Administration.  The Human Resources Director is appointed by the County Legislature for a six year term of office.    The Human Resource Director is a Public Officer under NYS Law, and therefore, must be a resid
