Wendel’s Chicken Barbecue - 11 a.m. April 27 at the Corfu Grange Hall, Rt. 77,Corfu across the street from the Pembroke Intermediate school. Adult tickets cost $9, $6 for kids ages 5 to 12 and kids 4 and under are free, 1/2 chicken with no sides is $6. Portion of the proceeds to support “Words For Thirds” Dictionary Project.

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup parmesean cheese

"nude" baked chicken (can be wings, drumsticks, breast, etc)

1.  In a small glass bowl, melt butter in microwave

2. Whick into butter the garlic powder, onion salt and pepper

3. Arrange hot, fresh baked nude chicken  on a serving platter and drizzle with butter mixture

4.  Top with parmesean cheese and serve immediately
