Rob Astorino, a candidate for governor in the 2022 election, dropped in on Northside Deli yesterday while on his way to a campaign stop.

Dewey Towner came up a winner again (he's previously won the Harley Raffle), this time in a Take 5 contest of the New York State Lottery. Towner bought his winning ticket at Northside Deli. Owner Dave Stupp, on the right, said it's the largest single jackpot to come out of his store so far. Towner is holding his winner's receipt. He's expected to get a check from the lottery for just over $21,000 (less taxes).

More than $1 million in automobile was parked at the Northside Deli this afternoon, according to owner Dave Stupp. Dave said the cars stopped while on a route from Toronto to the Hamptons as part of a California to East Coast Tour. The drivers told Stupp they worked for Aston Martin.
