UB is New York State's flagship and the largest and most comprehensive institution in the State University of New York system.

"Announcing our dean's list is always an exciting moment," Ann Bisantz, dean of undergraduate education, says. "These students have worked hard and dedicated themselves to their studies and have demonstrated academic excellence in their pursuit of an undergraduate degree at UB."

UB named 4,017 students named to its fall 2023 dean's list.

To qualify for the dean's list, full-time undergraduate students must demonstrate academic excellence by earning a grade point average of at least 3.600 while completing a minimum of 15 or more UB credit hours, of which 12 are graded (A-F) credits. Students are named to the dean's list at the end of the fall and spring semesters.

Oakfield Alabama graduate makes dean's list at SUNY Cobleskill

Kameron Cusmano, of Batavia, has been named to the Dean’s list for his outstanding academic achievement for the 2023 Fall semester.

Students must achieve a semester average of 3.50 or higher to be recognized. 

Kameron, a second-year student at SUNY Cobleskill, is majoring in Agricultural Technology/Business. He is the son of Michael and Karen Cusmano of Batavia.

Alayna Streeter named to Hartwick College's fall 2023 dean's list

Alayna Streeter of Le Roy was named to Hartwick College's Fall 2023 Dean's List. Streeter, who is pursuing a major in Nursing, was among the over 400 students named to the Fall 2023 Dean's List.

Making the Dean's List is an indication of excellence in academic work. To qualify, students must complete at least 12 academic credits during a term with a grade point average of at least 3.50 and no incompletes.

SUNY Cortland announces its fall 2023 dean's list

More than 2,800 students earned recognition for academic excellence on the SUNY Cortland Dean's List for the Fall 2023 semester. 

The Dean's List is the highest ranking for undergraduate students in their respective academic areas of the university. Students must earn a minimum 3.3 grade point average for the semester to make the list.

Samuel Zerillo of Le Roy named to fall 2023 dean's list at John Carroll University

Samuel Zerillo of Le Roy has been named to the Dean's List at John Carroll University for the Fall 2023 semester.

Students eligible for the Dean's List must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours within one semester and have a quality grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

SUNY GCC announces their fall 2023 president's list

Zachery Greer named to UM fall 2023 dean's honor roll

Zachery Greer, of East Bethany, was named to the University of Mississippi's Fall 2023 Honor Roll list.

Greer, majoring in Criminal Justice, was named to the Dean's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74.

In order to be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.

 

Leah Filter named to University of Alabama fall 2023 dean's list

Leah Filter of Corfu was named to The University of Alabama Deans List for the fall semester of 2023.

A total of 13,950 students enrolled during the fall semester 2023 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president's list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). These driven students are making waves across UA's more than 70 undergraduate programs and 12 colleges and schools.

Le Roy resident named to James Madison University president's list

Ellie Dambra of Le Roy has been named to the president's list at James Madison University for the fall 2023 semester. 

Students who earn president's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.900 or above. Dambra is majoring in Public Administration - BS.

Bergen's Chambry named to fall 2023 dean's list at Mount Union

The University of Mount Union has announced that Zoey Chambry, of Bergen, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2023 semester.

Chambry was one of 700 students named to the Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of traditionally graded coursework while achieving a grade point average of 3.550 or better with no letter grade below a B.

Ryan Dillon named to University at Buffalo's fall 2023 dean's list

Ryan Dillon of Batavia was named to the Dean's List honors from the University at Buffalo for the fall 2023 semester. Dillon is studying for his Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.

To qualify for the Dean's List at UB, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.6 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Nazareth University announces students on the dean's list for fall 2023

Alexander Dean named to Commonwealth University's fall 2023 dean's list

Alexander Dean, of Bergen, has been named to the Commonwealth University Dean's List for the Fall 2023 semester. 

Dean is a student at the Mansfield campus.

The list, prepared at the end of each semester, recognizes those students who have achieved academic distinction. To qualify for the Dean's List, the student must have earned a GPA of at least 3.50, on a 4.0 scale, in 12 or more semester hours of letter grades.

Noah Pickard named to SUNY Oneonta's fall 2023 dean's list

Noah Pickard of Batavia was one of more than 1,200 SUNY Oneonta students who earned Dean's List honors for the fall 2023 semester. Pickard is studying Dietetics at SUNY Oneonta.

To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Nate Yauchzee of Le Roy named to SUNY Potsdam president's list

Nate Yauchzee of Le Roy was recently named to the President's List at The State University of New York at Potsdam.

Yauchzee, majoring in Music Business, was among 809 students honored for academic excellence in the Fall 2023 semester. SUNY Potsdam President Dr. Suzanne Smith recognized the students for earning top marks.

To be on the President's List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically graded semester hours, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Funeral Home with locations in Batavia, Bergen, Oakfield, Warsaw, Perry, and Attica was one of only 104 funeral homes from throughout the U.S. and around the world honored with the 2023 National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) Pursuit of Excellence Award, placing it among an elite group of funeral service professionals. 

Pursuit of Excellence Award recipients raise the bar on funeral service excellence by adhering to the highest ethical and professional standards and providing unsurpassed service to families and communities.

To earn an NFDA Pursuit of Excellence Award, a participating funeral home must meet or exceed business standards set forth by the program and demonstrate proficiency in key areas of funeral service, such as compliance with state and federal regulations; providing ongoing education and professional development opportunities for staff; offering outstanding programs and resources to bereaved families; maintaining an active level of involvement within the community; participating and actively serving in the funeral service profession; and promoting funeral home services through a variety of marketing, advertising and public relations programs. Participants are also required to adhere to a Pledge of Ethical Practices.

Not only are they serving grieving families with dignity and compassion, but they are finding meaningful ways to support and give back to the community,” said NFDA Director of Public Relations Jessica Koth, who manages the Pursuit of Excellence Award program.

SUNY Cortland announces Fall 2023 president's list

SUNY Canton announces part-time honors for Fall 2023

The college created Part-Time Honors to recognize students who earned at least a 3.25 GPA in 6 to 11 credit hours of coursework. It stands alongside the college's Dean's List and President's List as one of the top awards given for academic success during a single semester.
