Dog locked inside vehicle at Pump #9 at Travel Center

By Billie Owens

A dog is locked inside a vehicle at Pump #9 at the Travel Center in Pembroke. A Sheriff's deputy is responding. It's 80 degrees outside.

Ok now this is goin too far. He's at a gas pump for pity's sake it's not like the dog is gonna be in there for hours. You cant run the air at a gas pump cause you have to turn off the motor.

I usually don't bitch about these, siding with the callers for Walmart and other places but damn. At a gas pump? How much you wanna bet he's gone before the deputy arrives....

that's the same thought i have about this kyle. The only thought I have about this, is perhaps the owner locked his keys in the car. Otherwise why wouldn't the person just have waited 30 seconds for the owner to come back to his car after paying or getting his coffee or whatever.

Not much information here to jump to the conclusion over who made the call. I understood it to be that the owner locked their keys in the car when they went to pump gas and would rather not wait the hour for AAA because there is a dog inside.
