Two masked teenaged males run through Richmond library, screaming threat of robbery

By Billie Owens

Two white teenaged males reportedly just ran through Richmond Memorial Library wearing masks and screaming they were going to rob the place.

They then left and were seen runnning westbound on East Main Street. One is wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt, the other is wearing blue jeans, black T-shirt and a red bandanna.

City police are responding. "The names are in the job," a dispatcher told officers.

The library is located at 19 Ross St.

Somehow, I remember doing some pretty stupid stuff as a teen (and, sadly, even later).

Wanna be careful, boys! Nowadays, with what's happening around the country, some old codger might think it's real, and that you're a REAL threat to their life. Don't know how it is in NY, but, down here in FL, that old codger might be packin'. And, legal or not, you could find yourself a victim of a "spoof" gone awry.

Glad I'm too old for that crap. Ain't running anywhere - well, maybe after the ice cream truck (He/she drives by every Sat. & Sun., but they're only going @ 3mph).

sen. gallivan has had a few new terrorism bills passed and this kind of action can fall under the new legislation with the perps being charged with serious felonies. we have come a long way in a short time. I feel so much safer.
