Letchworth Park, today

By Bea McManis

My son, Eric and his children, Scotty, Angel and Troy  (from Florida) and I went to Letchworth today.

It was a brisk, but wonderful day to soak in the beauty of the park and appreciate time with family.   Scotty, who you have met on these pages before, is a gifted athlete and has an artist eye with a camera.  Below are two of the photos I liked best.

Chris, it was a wonderful day. We went to their museum and spent quite a bit of time looking at everything. It's been years since I took the time to walk through the museum. Mr. Letchworth led quite a life.

Oh, yes he did.

There's a sharp turn to the left right after the museum. It comes out to a parking lot with a pavilion at the top of a hill. There are stone steps leading up to it.

It's a great place for a family get together or birthday party. Great view of the falls from it. Mind you, there's barely any cell service there.
