Fresh snow and heavy, gusting winds made for some slippery travel this morning, according to WBTA's Dan Fischer. A few area schools have been closed and Le Roy has delayed its start for two hours. Closings include: Attica, Alexander, Pavilion and Pembroke.

Holy Family School in LeRoy is closed today as well. Many students who attend HFS live in the feeder districts which are closed.

The rodes were covered at 6:30am this morning. Everyone kept a safe distance between them and the car ahead of them.. except the mini van in front of me. "He" was totally riding the SUV's bumper that was in front of him for miles. I felt bad for the SUV driver.... he was driving in a safe manner but must have been blinded by the mini van behind him. Not sure how the mini van was going to stop in time to avoid an accident. :0(
