Today's Poll: Should e-cigs be regulated?

By Howard B. Owens

I quit smoking with one after 15 years of real smokes. This is just another ploy by the government to take their little piece of the pie. If you cant critically think, and research the benefits and drawbacks on your own, then you may want to refrain from life....since critical thinking skills are necessary for it.
Can all you other humans please stop trying to regulate my life and the choices i make? Please. Just until the choices i make effect you. Since MY e cig has nothing to do with you, please GTFO.
Maybe we should regulate rice, since you know, alot of people eat it, and we need to make sure its safe.

Jason, we all have to eat, we all don't have to vape. I've seen some of our federal regulatory agencies in action, trust me, we don't need them involved.
We know there is nicotine in the juice, and from what I've been able to find on a bunch of sites, it contains some of the same ingredients found in tobacco products.

The e cig has a lot of advantages over smoking, you can fall asleep while vaping,
You can vape while lying in bed watching tv without the fear of burning your house
down. The vapor exhaled doesn't linger like tobacco smoke, doesn't stick to walls
and everything else smoke comes in contact with.

I don't think you will read about a fire where " careless vaping" was the cause.

Don't care really.....I quit smoking 20 some years ago, after sucking on those things for 25 years. What ever happened to "Cold Turkey?" Like the commercial says, "Just Do It".

Easy to say right? Sure it's hard, hardest thing I ever had to do. I felt like I had lost my best friend. Very sad feeling. For months, I caught myself "reaching for a smoke", from my shirt pocket. That was the habit, the smokes were the addiction. Twenty-odd years later, I may be a little heavier than I was when I smoked, but I feel a lot better. (Had to replace the habit with something!!) Good luck to anyone that decides to quit.

I did notice, the other day going into the doctors office, there was the standard "No Smoking" sign.....and right next to it was a new sign, "No E-VAPORS". Maybe the doctor knows something we don't????
