A native Batavian, Lauren is an illustrator, comic artist and painter who currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. She has been published in the L. Magazine's Annual Comix issue (2008), featured in Work for Free Magazine (Issue seven) and has work on Top Shelf's website. Lauren's mini comics have been reviewed or mentioned by many comic sites. She has shown her artwork at Life Cafe 983 in Bushwick, at Phoebe's in Williamsburg, the Loading Dock (Juan de Fuca Gallery) in Downtown Brooklyn and at de Castellane Gallery in Park Slope. Lauren's comic work will be included in HIVE 5, due out soon, and her Unicorn story was recently translated and published in Revista Larva. You can buy Lauren's mini comics through Etsy, and at selected retail stores. Also, she will have her work on exhibit in the GO ART! Bank of Castile Main Gallery in Batavia for the month of April, 2011. www.GOart.org
