Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) in Alabama and Shelby, NY, is hosting its annual Spring Into Nature celebration on Saturday, April 29, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Activities will be at the Refuge Visitor Center on Casey Road with a bald eagle watch located at Cayuga Overlook on Route 77. Join us as we welcome spring back to the swamp with a variety of nature-related exhibits, plus free crafts and games for the kids. During Spring into Nature we will offer activities and programs that create awareness, promote actions, increase support, and expand engagement in the conservations of migratory birds and animals. Family favorites such as constructing bird feeders and seeing live birds of prey are among some of the returning favorites. Food will be available for purchase.
