Minor injuries reported in accident at Main and Oak, Batavia

By Howard B. Owens

An accident has been reported at West Main and Oak streets.

A mother is reporting that she and her 3-year-old may have hit their heads on airbags.

The cars have been moved to the parking lot of Oliver's Candies.

Batavia Fire Department and Mercy EMS are requested to the scene by Batavia PD, non-emergency.

makes me wonder if the 3 year old was a front seat passenger, although, I guess some vehicles do have air bags for rear seat passengers. Just wondering, that's all.
Some how I am sure this is George Bush's fault!

Gary, remember -- something like this is only off the scanner -- we do the best we can with details such as this -- I want to give at least some idea of what happened. -- but at this point we really don't know.

Batavia PD doesn't generally voluntarily release accident reports, and since this doesn't sound like serious injuries at all, I'm not likely to follow up and ask for the report.
