Today's Poll: Do you think the Keystone Pipeline should be built?

Absolutely, it will be built and it will be a shot in the arm for middle America with the added jobs it will create. It is a win win situation for both the US and Canada.

Not only would it be a win for Canada, it would also be a win for North Dakota which makes it a WIN WIN!

It has been suggested that Warren Buffett had a hand in helping Obama turn down the original permit application. Buffett Is an Obama supporter.

Warren Buffett’s Burlington Northern Santa Fe LLC railroad — a unit of Buffett’s Omaha, Nebraska based Berkshire Hathaway — would be among those poised to reap sizable gains by the administration’s decision to reject TransCanada’s oil pipeline permit. Berkshire Hathaway purchased a 22% (or, $34 billion) share of the 32,000 mile line in 2009, shortly after Obama was elected. “Whatever people bring to us, we’re ready to haul,” Krista York-Wooley, a spokeswoman for Burlington Northern told Bloomberg. If Keystone XL “doesn’t happen, we’re here to haul.”

So much for SHOVEL READY JOBS!

The older I get, the more readily apparent it is that we the people are getting royally scheistered at every turn. Jobs lost, American companies running from the country and abandoning the people that helped make them successful, supporting wars that now make no sense, being lied to with hot sauce on the tongue about the sequestration, no end in sight with a reduction in taxes and a reduction in the federal debt...etc.

If you really want to pull your hair out, read this page: http://useconomy.about.com/od/fiscalpolicy/p/US_Debt_Deficit.htm

"Each year, the deficit is added to the debt. The Treasury must sell Treasury bonds to raise the money to cover the deficit. This is known as the public debt, since these bonds are sold to the public."

Sold to the public? Have you ever bought a treasury bond? Would it even be a worthy investment? No company on the face of this earth can legally run that kind of scam. The more I think of all the crap I've seen over the decades and the more I learn about history, the more I realize we're just slow cooked frogs.

Stop this maddening *EXPLETIVE* and vote for any party other than Democrat or Republican. If we don't come to our senses and realize what the future does NOT hold for us, we're just begging for more of the painful end of the whip.

producing tar sands oil is one of the most environmentally irresponsible ways to get fossil fuels. for that reason, I think it's a bad idea.
