Today's Poll: Should Calamar get public hearing on tax breaks for senior housing project?

Good enough for "travel destinations" like Dick's and Lowe's, good enough for senior housing. Neither was ever intended to be eligible, but GCEDC does a good job manipulating the projects they want and the one's they don't.
They should see if they could build out on Hawley drive, and be part of StartUpNY, Prince Andrew's latest pick a winner scenario.

People need to read carefully. The question is asking if Calamar should have a hearing.

Why not?

They should be allowed the public hearing, and then be turned down.

Sounds like the old west John, we'll give this guy a fair trial....then we'll hang him. A simple no would have sufficed.

Genesee County homeowner here, still looking for MY tax break ....... put me on the docket right after Calamar's hearing.

I'd prefer a public hearing on the GCEDC, the organization that is killing Genesee County one tax abatement at a time...
