PATRICK T. BODKIN

Batavia - Patrick T. Bodkin, 83, of Batavia, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the Buffalo VA Medical Center, in Buffalo.

Mr. Bodkin was born March 11, 1933 in Buffalo, a son of the late George and Katherine A. Conners Bodkin.

A member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, Pat proudly served his country with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Calibrated Charts in Batavia as their data processing manager.

He is survived by his wife, Joan F. Barton whom he married November 22, 1985; his children, Christopher (Susan) Bodkin of Buffalo, Janine (Jim) Smoltz of Detroit, Michigan, Sean Bodkin of Lackawanna, Christopher (Diane) Deleo of Batavia and Steven (Christy) Deleo of Pavilion, seven grandchildren, Taylor, Noelle, Keira, Justin, Audree, Roman and Joel; his sister, Rosemary (Kendall) Davis of Buffalo; his sister-in-law, Joan Bodkin of South Carolina and several nieces and nephews.

He is the brother of the late Barbara Fahey and George Bodkin.

Friends may call on Saturday from 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. at St. Maximilian Kolbe – East Pembroke Site, 8656 Church Street, Pembroke. His Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, P.O. Box 278, Corfu, New York 14036.  Burial, with full military honors, will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Batavia.
