Thomas J. Roach

Batavia - Thomas J. Roach, 71, of Batavia, passed away on Thursday (January 12, 2017) at the United Memorial Medical Center.

Tom was born November 19, 1945 in Batavia, a son of the late John T. and Bernice L. (Decker) Roach.

Tom enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his lifelong career in the car business with John T. Roach Inc., Jim Barnard Chevrolet and Castilone.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Batavia.

Survivors include three daughters, Jane (Robert) Johnson of Batavia, Janine (David) Galante of Williamsville and Jacquelyn (Brian) Fowler of Batavia; his grandchildren, Alexander Johnson, Trevor Galante, Lena Galante, Ava Galante and Gavin Fowler; two sisters-in-law, Joanne (late Anthony) Tamburello of Williamsville and Marlene (Jack) Williams of Syracuse and a dear friend, Rosemarie Lester of Batavia.

Tom is the husband of the late Andrea J. Roach.

Calling hours are Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main St., Batavia.  Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church, 8221 Lewiston Road, Batavia.  Tom will be laid to rest in Grandview Cemetery, Batavia.
