K. Richard Brumber

Batavia - K. Richard Brumber, 76, of Batavia, a Resource Director at Jones Chemicals, Leroy, prior to his retirement, died Saturday, July 29, 2017 at his home, in Batavia.

Mr. Brumber was born August 7, 1940 in Batavia, the son of the late Irvine and Betty (Hendershott) Brumber.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Batavia, where he served as a Deacon, former Secretary and Treasurer.   He was a graduate of Bryant & Stratton.

His wife, Frances (Capiello) Brumber died September 18, 1991.

Survivors include a son, Todd Brumber of Batavia; a daughter, Karen Brumber of Rochester; a granddaughter, Brooke Brumber of Batavia; 2 half-sisters, Deborah Donahue and Kimberly Brumber, both of Rochester; a step-brother, Joe Cooley of Elba, 4 sisters-in-law, Anita Hunt of Saratoga, Donna Mogavero of Batavia, Karen Fliflet of MT and Denise Connor of PA; several nieces and nephews. 

He was the brother of the late Dale Brumber and Nancy Rocklein.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 11 am to 12 pm at H.E. Turner & Co, Inc., 403 E. Main St., Batavia, where service will immediately follow at 12 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Batavia, 306 East Main Street, Batavia, NY 14020.  Burial will be in Grand View Cemetery in Batavia.  Please leave a condolence, share a story or light a candle at www.bataviafuneralhomes.com.
