Phillip Czaja

Phillip Czaja, 34 of Oakfield, passed from our sight and hearing on July 29, 2017 at home after a long illness.

Phillip was born on July 26, 1983 in Batavia, NY to William and Peggy (Fagan) Czaja.

Phillip was a avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, along with the New York Yankees. He was always up for a round or two of golf with his cousins whenever they could get together.

He is survived by his father William (Karen) Czaja of Las Vegas, NV, a sister Alexis (Steve) Czaja of Batavia and a son Johnathan also of Batavia. His Maternal Grandparents Richard and Virginia Fagan of Pavilion, his step-father Sean Gartlan of Edmonton, Alberta Canada and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother Peggy Gartlan and his Paternal Grandparents Florence and Wimpy Czaja.

Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 E. Main St., Batavia, where services will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m.  Private burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Batavia.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Volunteers for Animals, P.O.
