Mrs. Pauline B. Sprague

Batavia - Mrs. Pauline B. Sprague, age 98, of Batavia, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Crossroads House.

Mrs. Sprague was born July 4, 1919 in Bergen, the daughter of the late Victor and Anna Petrie Trick.

A member of First Baptist Church of Batavia for over 65 years, she was the head cashier at the former Big N Store in Batavia. A great friend to everyone she met, she was a wonderful cook who enjoyed going out to dinner on Friday night with family and going for rides.

Her husband, James A.  Sprague, passed away on March 11, 1996.

She is survived by her daughters, Bernice (Richard) Couillard of Batavia and Donna (David) MacDonald of Florida; and seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is the mother of the late Kenneth Sprague who passed away in 1989, grandmother of the late Dwayne MacDonald and sister of the late Willis and Richard Trick.

There are no prior visiting hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery, Batavia.
