Albert J. Aratari, 86 of Holley, passed away on Saturday August 5, 2017 peacefully at Hospice of Orleans Inc. surrounded by his family. He was born November 23, 1930 in Rochester, to the late Cecido (Lucy Borso) Aratari. Mr. Aratari is preceded in death by brothers Alfred, Dominick, Alex, Peter, Frank and Louis; sisters Annie Recino, Florence Sofia, Rosie Bell and Jean Esposito.

Mr. Aratari was retired from Kodak. He was an avid New York Yankees Fan and enjoyed bowling.

He is survived by his beloved wife Carol A. (Rigard) Aratari of Holley; children Kim (Loren) Parsels of Byron; Deborah Aratari of Greece; Joseph Aratari of Holley; Michael (Lori) Aratari of Batavia; sisters-in-law Ginny Rigard of OH; Mary Aratari of Irondequoit; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.   

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday August 8, 2017 from 3-7 PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. A 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday August 9, 2017 at Ascension Parish 19 Sumner St. Batavia, New York 14020. He will be entombed in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum, Batavia.
