Marjorie Hall Vivian, 69, retired administrator for the Batavia City School District, passed away on August 13th, 2017 in the comfort of her home in Darien Center. She was born in Buffalo, NY on October 17th, 1947 to the late Robert Wesley and Mildred Kleinfelder Hall. Mrs. Vivian is also predeceased by her brothers-in-law Thomas Weronski and Michael Pawarski.

Mrs. Vivian grew up in Buffalo and West Seneca, graduating from West Seneca West High School. In 1968, she married Allan Vivian. While Mrs. Vivian raised her family, she pursued her higher education attending GCC, SUNY Brockport and SUNY Geneseo. Mrs. Vivian touched numerous lives throughout her working career in the human services and education fields. Mrs. Vivian worked at the New York State School for the Blind, Broadway Acres of DePaul, Livingston-Wyoming ARC Children's Services and Batavia City Schools. Mrs. Vivian really enjoyed the students that she worked with, especially those who received their education at the administration building on Washington Avenue. Travelling and being in the outdoors gave Mrs. Vivian many years of enjoyment as she was very active in the scouts and enjoyed to visit new places. Mrs. Vivian joyfully shared her adventures on her various trips and cruises with lovely photographs. From an early age, Mrs. Vivian enjoyed a variety of projects beginning with painting. Many will remember her quilts, handmade cards, embroidery, scrapbooks and photography. All who visited her home received a fragrant welcome while looking at her gardens.

Mrs. Vivian is survived by her husband; Allan Vivian; her three children Steven (Lauri) Vivian, Lesa (Todd) VanSon and Kari (Terrance) Stevens. She will also be missed by her beloved grandchildren and great-granddaughter; Carter and Taryn Vivian, Dean (Michelle) VanSon and their daughter Emily and Jessi VanSon, Kayla, Amanda and Spencer Stevens. Mrs. Vivian is also survived by her brothers and sisters; Robert (Jean) Hall, Kathleen Weronski, Jaqueline Pawarski, Timothy Hall and Mikel Hall.

There will be no prior calling hours. An 11:00AM Memorial Service will be held on Friday August 25, 2017 at the Attica Masonic Lodge at 39 Main Street, Attica, NY 14011.
